☕️ Brew & Ways to Enjoy

Coarse Grind – Barrel Reserve Cold Brew

Smoky. Silky. Ready for sipping or spiking.

What You’ll Need (Serves 2–3):

  • 1 cup coarsely ground Whiskey Barrel Aged coffee
  • 4 cups cold, filtered water
  • Optional: Dash of maple syrup or a splash of Irish cream
  • Ice cubes or whiskey rocks

🔥 How to Brew It:

  1. Combine & steep:

Add grounds and water to a cold brew maker or French press. Stir gently to saturate.
  2. Steep overnight:

Cover and refrigerate for 12–18 hours.
  3. Strain:

Filter through a fine sieve or cheesecloth until smooth.
  4. Serve it neat or dressed:

Pour over ice or whiskey rocks. Sweeten with maple or spike with a touch of cream liqueur.

💡 Barista Tip:

Pairs beautifully with smoked salt or a rim of crushed cacao nibs for tasting flights.

Standard Grind – Whiskey Maple Latte

Deep. Toasted. Sweet with a slow finish.

What You’ll Need (1 serving):

  • 8 oz strong brewed Whiskey Barrel Aged coffee
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup steamed milk or cream
  • Tiny pinch of cinnamon or smoked salt (optional)

🔥 How to Make It:

  1. Brew it bold: Use drip, AeroPress, or pour-over. Aim for 2 tbsp per 6 oz water for richness.
  2. Sweeten & stir: Add maple syrup to your mug. Pour in hot coffee and stir until fully blended.
  3. Steam & pour: Steam or warm milk and pour over the sweetened coffee. Stir gently.
  4. Top (optional): Garnish with a light dusting of cinnamon or smoked sea salt.

💡 Perk Tip:

Use oat milk or cream to accentuate the whiskey notes—avoid anything too sweet or flavored.

Espresso Grind – Barrel-Aged Espresso Old Fashioned

Bitter. Boozy (or not). Bold like a bourbon.

What You’ll Need (1 serving):

  • 2 oz espresso-style brewed Whiskey Barrel Aged coffee
  • ½ tsp Demerara or raw sugar
  • 2 dashes orange bitters (optional)
  • Orange peel (for garnish)
  • Optional: splash of whiskey or coffee liqueur

🔥 How to Make It:

  1. Brew your espresso base: Use finely ground beans in a Moka pot or espresso machine. Brew 2 oz strong.
  2. Sweeten & flavor: In a rocks glass, stir espresso with sugar and bitters until dissolved.
  3. Garnish & elevate: Add an orange twist, and if you like, a tiny splash of bourbon or liqueur.
  4. Serve over a large ice cube or neat.

💡 Perk Tip:

Serve this as a nightcap-style drink or part of an after-dinner coffee board with dark chocolate and nuts.
